Good Idea/Bad Idea: GameCube Games with Wii... →
Nintendo has decided to add Wii-style controls and re-release some of their best selling GameCube games for the Wii console.  Dubbed the NEW PLAY CONTROL games, what do you think?  Good idea or not? Me personally?  I wouldn’t mind Wii control Pikmin.. but I can’t think of another title that I am dying to have Wii controls in.. Via Sarcastic Gamer.

Tip for Evernote.app
I am new to Evernote, but I already have a favorite feature. It’s called iSight Note. You can hold anything you want up to your iSight cam on your MacBook (or any webcam on your PC) and take a picture. Evernote then makes any text in the picture (handwritten or typed) searchable through the search box. This is a great way to scan stuff in and then throw it away. This way I have less...

Right or Wrong?
I recently got a flyer from Time Warner in the mail that states “The Digital Transition is Coming February 17…. Basic Cable is the simple solution to stay connected.” It would seem to me that buying a $40 digital TV converter with a government coupon would be the “simplest solution to stay connected.” False advertising or not?

Dead Rising sequel? →
Some interesting gaming news hit my radar today… then i found out I might be the last one to the party on this, but apparently a sequal to Dead Rising (the Zombie genocide game from early in the Xbox360’s life cycle) is in the works.

What kind of blog is this?
Good question. I have written for a couple of my own ‘normal’ blogs in the past. I tend to see alot of things online that I would like to share with people that I don’t quite feel like writing an entire entry about. Enter “tumblelogging.” Here is a link to the wiki description of Tumblelog. This is what I do now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tumblelog

An App for your MacBook to let it run while... →
Sweet app. I haven’t downloaded it because I’m not sure I need it, but it’s a great concept for people who use their Mac for streaming videos and music to the Xbox360 and don’t want it sitting open while they do that. via TUAW.

Link: Mac OSX - Tumblr Dashboard Widget →
This widget is a big part of why I chose Tumbler to host my new blog.  I can blog from my MacBook without having to visit the site.  This is a great feature that sold me on the service.

OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard Review →
Long awaited news on Snow Leopard’s real-life performance.  My favorite part, if you don’t feel like clicking the link is: “The biggest changes are under the hood. Snow Leopard is fast. Very fast. Like, surprisingly fast. From boot times to general application usage, Snow Leopard was noticeably quicker than Leopard when using the same system. Apple and 3rd party applications...

Welcome
If you are reading this, you may or may not know that I have had a blog before by the same name. I decided that I want a mini-blog. This way I can update more often with more up-to-date tidbits as I think of them. These will be short, and may or may not contain links to things I notice online. Enjoy!
